Carly Hunt, Ph.D.
Carly Hunt, Ph.D., is a sport and counseling psychologist, scientist and educator who counsels athletes, adolescents and adults on improving performance, well-being and health. She has published on topics in health, positive and sport performance psychology in leading academic journals and taught undergraduate coursework on the science of happiness. She is a former division 1 golfer (Georgetown University & University of Maryland), certified yoga instructor, and contributing writer to Mindful Magazine and Greater Good. Dr. Hunt holds graduate degrees in Kinesiology (MA) and Counseling Psychology (PhD) and completed a National Institutes of Health NRSA postdoctoral fellowship (T32) in biobehavioral pain research at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Dr. Hunt continues to play competitive golf at the local and national level and is passionate about helping others reach their full potential in sport and in life.
