Dr. Lager was one of the speakers at the 10-year "Runiversary" of Run Farther and Faster, a running organization in northern Virginia. The event, which was held in February 2020, provided education, resources, and support to distance runners. Dr. Lager spoke on mental strategies for runners to implement to get the most out of their race.

Dr. Kristi G. Hall, Psy.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist and the Director of Clinical & Sport Psychology at the University of Maryland, where she leads a multidisciplinary team providing comprehensive mental health and performance services to Division I student-athletes. In this role, she oversees clinical care, performance enhancement, and the development of NCAA-aligned mental health action plans.
In addition to her university leadership, Dr. Hall is the founder of Wholesome Minds, LLC, a private practice and consulting company focused on athlete well-being, mental performance, and community outreach. She has worked with athletes and organizations across collegiate, professional, and Olympic levels, including collaborations with the NFL and the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee.
Dr. Hall also serves on the Maryland State Athletic Commission and frequently provides talks, workshops, and programming on resilience, athlete identity, and performance psychology. She is actively engaged in national conversations on best practices in sport psychology and mental health, and is preparing for CMPC certification.
Her clinical and performance approach integrates evidence-based therapies with a strong emphasis on resilience, identity, and holistic athlete development.
